什麼是「台灣好生活電子報」？
簡單說來，就是份「立志讓台灣生活變得更好」的電子報。
為什麼想創立「台灣好生活電子報」？
因為我們始終相信，台灣值得一個更好的未來。
你，他，我，活在台灣的人們，只要懂得努力，都值得擁有，也終會擁有，一個更好的未來。
近幾年台灣各界被不夠理想、逐漸惡質化的傳統主流媒體破壞，已經夠深夠久了，打開電視新聞、翻開主要報紙，口水爭論、八卦緋聞、殺人強暴、災難眼淚佔去絕大部分的篇幅，媒體傳播原是社會教育最廣泛也最重要的一環，但我們每天從媒體得到了什麼教育？媒體一天到晚告訴我們台灣的人事物有多壞多壞，但台灣真的有那麼壞嗎？

近幾年台灣各界被不夠理想、逐漸惡質化的傳統主流媒體破壞，已經夠深夠久了，打開電視新聞、翻開主要報紙，口水爭論、八卦緋聞、殺人強暴、災難眼淚佔去絕大部分的篇幅，媒體傳播原是社會教育最廣泛也最重要的一環，但我們每天從媒體得到了什麼教育？媒體一天到晚告訴我們台灣的人事物有多壞多壞，但台灣真的有那麼壞嗎？
當然不！台灣擁有多元秀麗的生態山水、各角落熱情和善的老百姓，更是外國人眼中的美食美景天堂。正因我們的故鄉台灣，是地球最大的陸地和最大的海洋相互擁抱而誕生的島嶼，所以許多台灣人民正在努力學習，用最大的包容來對待全球人民。
然而，我們卻遺憾且悲憤地看到，身負社會教育重責大任的傳統新聞媒體，打著「新聞自由」的大旗，以「捍衛人民知的權利」之名，行「侵害各種人權」之實，熱誠記者本著良心努力撰寫的建設性新聞，還來不及見報或播出，就受到高層編輯的既定商業口味箝制，被各種煽色腥、話題性的新聞排擠到垃圾桶裡；攝影記者被迫要盡量拍攝裸體和屍體，無論那些照片或畫面遭編輯選擇刊播後，會否害人自殺或讓受害者家屬傷心欲絕。
不用掛名的「媒體高層」，既能「按照己意，修改記者原先所做的報導」，更擁有指揮旗下記者群「為特定人物或事件，做配合和系列採訪」之權，遭廣大閱聽人唾棄的不良電視新聞處理，便有不少源自「豈有此理」的指揮。又因各家媒體老闆的政治信仰，讓不少政治報導流於隨政客起舞，更讓原本該是眾人之事的民主政治，淪為製造對立、鬥爭內耗的工具。
主流媒體大幅失去討論、形塑良善公共政策的功能，讓台灣開放總統直選後，一直陷在「只有選民，幾乎沒有公民」的窘境。我們深信，台灣是能夠達到「用自由當邊界、以包容為領土，凡有生命皆是子民，實行自然主義、信奉平等」境界的國家。在那之前，需要有致力於公共報導、能給台灣更多正面力量的強大媒體，扮演促進不同族群理性溝通、海內外同胞同心互助的角色。
透過台灣好生活電子報的誕生與茁壯，我們誠摯希望能耕耘出「福田一方邀天下善士」的嶄新媒體平台，突破傳統媒體製造紛爭對立、屢次侵害人權的不良結構，讓所有關心台灣發展的人們，能仔細傾聽台灣土地與海洋的聲音、傾聽環境真正的需求，以平心靜氣、互相尊重的態度，在各人崗位上付出愛護台灣的行動。
